Even after being released from physical therapy and cleared to go back to work teaching I was still struggling with severe pain in my leg and back.
I was still unable to stand for longer than 30 seconds, to walk more than a quarter of a mile. My job, showering, going to grocery and working out all became huge sources of pain. I was really down. Then I found Curable. In the first 20 minutes of listening to the introductory lessons I started to feel relief.
The mind body connection is so important to understanding why we have pain and how to cope with it. This app is the future of pain management and takes you through an in-depth journey of understanding how we can help ourselves. The knowledge shared in this app goes far beyond what over a decade of doctors office visits provided me. This app has been life changing for my health. I got a concussion 2.
I now tell every person I know about this app, including my doctors. Game changing for chronic injuries! This app has been game changing for me. I am so happy I stumbled across it. I would recommend to anyone experiencing chronic pain or injury. The education, brain-training exercises, medications, writing exercises and the Facebook community have all filled a major gap in my treatment. Thank you Curable! After developing extreme lower back discomfort, I went from running over a dozen competitive marathons and ultramarathons to having trouble getting out of bed.
Nothing seemed to help and I became a different person, completely focused on the discomfort, worried my life was over as I defined it. Give it a try, and put any skepticism aside. The app experience itself is also very welcoming and user-friendly. I am so thankful for the discovery of Curable. As a violin and piano teacher with pain in both my wrists I was very upset with my lack of healing progress after a year of treatments and rest.
The lack of results I was seeing did not line up with my diagnosis of an RSI. Curable helped me far more than any physiotherapy, massage or acupuncture appointment and at a fraction of the cost. Once I started with the app and began listening to all of the brain science clips, everything I was hearing resonated with my experience and made so much sense.
The techniques I have learned and continue to learn are invaluable to me. Thank you Curable!!! I had read some of the mind body books out there, but only once I started using the Curable app did I make progress in resolving my migraines.
I have felt so much stronger since going through the exercises. They are just the right length to do every day— plus they make it enjoyable. The lessons are curated wonderfully and explain scientific aspects clearly. I have been using the app for a few months now and have seen a remarkable change in my chronic migraines.
She had to go on independent study her entire sophomore year of high school and would only come out of her room for 30 minutes at a time because of her constant, extreme pain. Then one day a family member who knew our story sent us a link to Curable.
I sat in bed and cried when I read the stories that we so similar to my daughters. I started listening, and the Pain-fear cycle resonated so closely to how I know she felt. The biggest obstacle was giving her, yet another, possible solution to her pain. Hope is a very dangerous thing and we were both very wary, but she started listening and she agreed to try it. We hope that you will be next!

The writing has helped me the most, followed by the guided visualizations and meditations I cannot thank you enough for the work that you have done through this app to empower people to be able to control and back off their pain. My understanding of pain and its emotional components has been life changing. For those who are skeptical, you just have to try it.
No, it is not a quick fix, and I am a person who felt like I had done most of my emotional and psychological work as I am a trauma therapist. But the cumulative stressors of our lives build up in our bodies and can create real pain, and until we go through and do the fundamental work, that pain compounds and confounds medical intervention.
I had tried everything from medications to massage to chiropractic to steroid injections, and spent hundreds of dollars a month to no avail. Curable has been the key to recovery for me.
But still the arm pain persisted, even after taking a 2 month break from work. Some days I had to ice my arms to be able to type anything at all. I type and play piano as much as I want. Not only is my pain gone, but I am better at coping with life and daily stresses. My overall stress level has gone down and I am a happier and calmer person.
